This is THE ONE!!! The first 18k gold Speedmaster ever produced is absolutely gorgeous and was made in a very limited run of 1014 pieces starting in 1969. They were made to commemorate the moon landing in that same year and have been highly-coveted ever since. In 2019, because of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Omega began producing a new 50th anniversary 18k gold Speedmaster. Call it a ‘re-issue” or an homage. That makes this one even more desirable. This particular watch is in very good condition with a strong case and tight bracelet. It feels as good as it looks and one acts with a special sense of purpose with it attached to their wrist.

If you wore one of these in 1970, you were (as my father would say) a bad motorcycle! You had it all going on and didn’t mind broadcasting that fact. These were (and are still) rare and beautiful tool watches that could do anything and everything.
