This is an absolutely stunning vintage Breitling Trans Ocean with a gorgeous three register blue dial. This one has vintage cool written all over it. It is fitted with a workhorse, manual wind Valjoux 7740 chronograph movement. The shape of the case and colors of the dial and hands combine to make this one just about perfect. It has a serious mid-century vibe that can not be replicated in a modern watch. The case and bracelet are crisp and the way the light plays with the brushed/polished finishes and bevels is mesmerizing.
This Breitling 7102 dates from 1970 and is in very good vintage condition. Looking at it, there are no clues that it was made more than 50 years ago. It was clearly babied by any previous owner(s). No service history is known but it is running and keeping time. It winds smoothly and looks fantastic on the wrist. If you want a real piece of history to wear around on a daily basis, look no further than this beauty. It should serve you well for the next 50 years!
