This model is the definition of a classic Neo-vintage sport Rolex. The 16710 was the second of the GMT Master II’s (after the 16760) and has many modern features such as a sapphire crystal and an updated movement that allows instant adjustment of the hour hand to keep track of a second time zone. However, this particular variant also has the very desirable tritium dial and handset. This is a U serial which dates it to 1998. The case of this one is in very good condition showing signs of the factory finish. The black and red Coke bezel insert is in very good condition as well and shows signs of light wear due to normal use. The 78790 bracelet is in tight condition and correct 501B endlinks look great. If you love a classic Rolex with drilled lugs and a tritium dial but want the wearability of a modern watch, this is the one for you! Included with the watch are double boxes, papers, books, and hang tags as seen in pics.
